Evertons fanbase expanded into the world

David Moyes has revealed Andy van der Meyde is fighting a losingbattle in his desperate bid to be fit for next weeksMerseyside derby.The Dutch international has been missing since suffering a thighinjury in training ahead of the visit to Old Trafford earlier thismonth.Van der Meyde had made the derby against Liverpool on December28 his target for a return to competitive action but the manageradmits that is an optimistic target.Moyes admits it is unlikely the 26-year-old will be availableduring the Buy Fifa 16 PS4 Coins  Christmas period.

I dont think Andy will be fit,  said Moyes. I think hes got a serious injury and I think thatits going to keep him out a few weeks longer. Hes running but at the minute he can still feel theinjury. We think it might be a bit longer than we first thought. Itlooks like it is a thigh strain right up at the top of his leg. When it first happened, we thought it was bad but after acouple of days we thought it wasnt so bad. Unfortunately itlooks like it will keep him out a wee bit longer.
